Renske & Damian Blanchard are your hosts at Chalet Tissieres and have been living in the Chamonix valley since 2004. They have lovingly renovated the chalet and created Ice and Orange winter and summer alpine holidays. Together with the chalet team they look forward to welcoming you soon to beautiful Chamonix.

Renske about Damian

Damian originally comes from the Norfolk countryside in England. Having graduated from Loughborough University he worked as a car designer for Jaguar & Landrover for many years. With a passion for all sports, particularly snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking/climbing, golf and fishing Chamonix was the perfect location to settle. Another passion of Damian's is cooking and fine wine and you will see his influences at the dinner table and in our carefully selected wines.

Damian about Renske

Renske was born and raised in the Netherlands but spent her latter teenage years in various countries; Ireland, Belgium & England, a true European. She also graduated from Loughborough University proceeding into a successful career in the marketing & advertising industry. Renske has a passion for all sports, particularly skiing, hiking/climbing, tennis and swimming. Being a very warm, friendly and approachable person she makes Chalet Tissieres a true 'home from home' for all our guests. Speaking four European language's fluently ensures all nationalities are given the best advice for skiing, hiking or day trip's in and around the valley.
