Winter Chef & Cleaner (Dec 10 - April 11)

We're looking to employ a friendly, motivated, hard-working couple (or 2 friends) to help run our 9 bedroomed luxury chalet in Chamonix this winter from Mid Dec 10 to mid/end April 2011.
 

As a chef you will have had significant restaurant standard cooking background and the ability to create and deliver high quality 'fine dining' dishes.  You will have full input to menu creation and wine selection to compliment your great food.

The cleaner will be thorough, have an eye for detail and house pride!

In return, we will provide you with a fully serviced one bed apartment off site within walking distance from the chalet; food; a competative weekly wage, an end of season bonus, ski hire, winter ski insurance.

Applicants must be available until the end of April, have a valid EU passport or French/EU working visa, have a full, clean driving license for more than 3 years, be of a mature disposition, be physically fit with no recent major illnesses, and be a non smoker. Good people skills are also essential as you will be required to interact with clients on an ongoing basis.

Airport Transfer Drivers for GAT

Part time drivers’ role description for GAT (www.geneva-airport-transfers.com):

 

The principle role of our airport transfer drivers is to safely, responsibly and comfortably transport our paying clients from Geneva International Airport (Swiss & potentially French side) to our main destinations in the Haute Savoie region of the Rhone Alps.

 

During the operation of your duties you will be responsible for…

 

i)                    Safely driving our 9 seater vehicles from our base in Chamonix to and from Geneva.   Adhering to all speed and safety requirements and adapting driving style to suit weather conditions.

ii)                   Meeting and greeting clients in the arrivals hall GVA.

iii)                 Assisting clients with loading and unloading baggage at arrival and destination points.

iv)                 Filling in correct arrival paper work with the Swiss taxi bureau.

v)                   Cleaning of your vehicle, inside and out and maintaining a high level of vehicle presentation.

vi)                 Daily and weekly vehicle defect checking.  Tyre pressure, visual inspection, screen wash fluids etc…  Refuelling of vehicles when required. Fitting of snow chains if required.

vii)                Responsible for taking cash payment from clients and ensuring safe delivery back to our office in Chamonix.

viii)              Keeping the office informed of flight delays and potential changes to driving schedules.

Winter Hosts (Dec 10 - April 11)
